Synopsis :- This course intends to increase students’ knowledge on the concept of sustainability, develop the right attitudes, values, and skills in addressing sustainable development issues and related challenges encountered in a globalized world. More specifically, this course aims to demonstrate the importance of sustainable development’s principles and practices and will also include Islamic perspective on Sustainable Development. Through multiple case studies, students are expected to understand the challenges and barriers in integrating sustainable development at local, national and international.
