Synopsis :- This course aims to produce students who are competent in academic writing. It emphasizes language skills and grammatical work; text types; and the writing process. It also introduces basic citation techniques namely paraphrasing, quoting, summarizing and synthesizing. It equips students with critical reading and thinking skills to write an academic writing involving a salient issue on sustainability. This course also stresses upon working collaboratively and the integration of academic integrity.
